India Anterior Hip Foundation Course – 2026 Commences

Lucknow: The Joint Care Foundation is hosting a two-day India Anterior Hip Foundation Course – 2026 at Hyatt Regency, Lucknow, starting today. The course aims to promote the latest surgical techniques, hands-on practical training, and academic excellence in the field of orthopedic surgery.

Course coordinator Dr. Saurav Shukla stated that the course will focus on modern surgical technology and provide a high-level skill development platform for hip surgery. The program will feature renowned national and international experts, with over 80 orthopedic surgeons from India and abroad participating.

The faculty includes notable contributors such as Sunil Dash, Dr. Franz J. Vandepitte (Belgium), Prof. Rajesh Malhotra (Delhi), Dr. Mahesh Kulkarni (Pune), Dr. Vijay Kumar (AIIMS Delhi), Dr. Kartik Patel (Ahmedabad), Dr. Krishna Kiran (Hyderabad), and Dr. Narayan Hulse (Bengaluru). International speakers include Dr. Anay Patel (USA) and Dr. Naveen Gareb (Israel), who will participate virtually.

Dr. Shukla emphasized that the course will provide a strong academic platform to advance hip surgery in India, offering a high-level skill development platform and promoting modern surgical techniques. He also highlighted the benefits of robotic surgery, which enables accurate and precise surgery with minimal blood loss and trauma.
