Inauguration of a World-Class Exhibition on Architecture and Interior Products at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan

Lucknow – The Indian Institute of Interior Designers (IIID) inaugurated the world-class exhibition on architecture and home decor products, “Synthesis – Design Week”, at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh,  Brajesh Pathak, who cut the ribbon and opened it for public viewing. The event witnessed the presence of IIID National President, Architect Jignesh Modi, and Head of the Faculty of Architecture & Planning, AKTU, Ms. Ritu Gulati, along with prominent IIID members, including Chairperson Architect Prasanjit Sanyal, Chairman-Elect Architect Aviral Agarwal, Convener Architect Vishal Jain, Secretary Architect Rohit Gupta, and Treasurer Architect Neeraj Kushwaha.

Addressing the gathering at the inauguration ceremony,  Brajesh Pathak expressed his pride in Lucknow being chosen as the venue for such a prestigious exhibition on architecture and interior products. He emphasized that the state government is committed to providing ample opportunities for industries to flourish, as demonstrated by the massive success of the recent Global Investors Summit, which attracted renowned investors from around the world. He encouraged people to visit the exhibition, stating that having multiple manufacturers under one roof would enable visitors to compare and choose high-quality products.

This four-day exhibition will showcase world-class home decor and construction materials to the residents of Lucknow. Additionally, it will provide an opportunity for visitors to interact with national and international architects, interior designers, urban planners, and industry experts, allowing them to seek valuable insights and professional advice on construction and design.

The event is hosting prestigious architects from India and abroad, offering students from Amity School of Architecture & Planning, BBD, Integral University, AKTU Faculty of Architecture & Planning, and ITM College a chance to gain practical knowledge about architecture. Special workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions will introduce them to the latest trends in the field.

Moreover, over 60 leading companies specializing in interior, architectural, and building materials have set up stalls to showcase their latest innovations.
