In a Global First, Airtel Offers Free Adobe Express Premium to 360 Million Customers Across India

Lucknow | In a landmark global first, Bharti Airtel, one of India’s leading telecommunications service providers, has announced a strategic partnership with Adobe to provide free access to Adobe Express Premium to its 360 million customers across India. The move aims to democratise creativity by placing powerful, AI-driven design tools—worth approximately ₹4,000—into the hands of Airtel users at no cost for one year.

Under this first-of-its-kind initiative, all Airtel customers, including mobile, Wi-Fi and DTH subscribers, will be able to access Adobe Express Premium for creating high-quality social media content, marketing materials, short videos, presentations, and more—without requiring any prior design expertise. Customers can activate the subscription seamlessly via the Airtel Thanks App, with no credit card requirement.

Commenting on the partnership, Siddharth Sharma, CEO – Connected Homes and Director – Marketing, Bharti Airtel, said the collaboration goes beyond technology. He stated that the initiative is aimed at empowering millions of Indians with cutting-edge AI tools for creativity and innovation. From students designing resumes to small business owners creating posters and digital creators editing videos, the partnership seeks to make professional-grade creative tools accessible to every Airtel customer.

David Wadhwani, President, Digital Media at Adobe, said Adobe is committed to enabling everyone to create and stand out using Adobe Express, the quick and easy create-anything app. He added that partnering with Airtel will help accelerate India’s fast-growing creator economy and enable users to produce impactful content for careers, businesses, and personal passions.

Adobe Express Premium offers access to thousands of professionally designed templates, including those tailored for Indian festivals, weddings, and local businesses. The subscription includes AI-powered features such as instant background removal, custom image generation, one-tap video editing, premium Adobe Stock assets, more than 30,000 professional fonts, 100GB cloud storage, auto captions, instant resize tools, and watermark-free exports with seamless multi-device syncing.

To ensure wider accessibility, Adobe Express is available in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Bengali, enabling users to create content comfortably in their native languages. Whether it is festival greeting cards, wedding invitations, promotional creatives for local shops, or WhatsApp Status updates, Adobe Express makes professional-quality design accessible to everyone.

The partnership is expected to have a strong real-world impact across multiple segments. Content creators and influencers can produce distinctive, viral-ready visuals and videos with ease. Students can build engaging projects and presentations while developing essential digital skills. Small businesses and entrepreneurs can design marketing materials, logos, QR codes, and advertisements within minutes, saving both time and costs. Marketers can also create authentic, culturally relevant campaigns that resonate with local audiences.

With this initiative, Airtel and Adobe have taken a significant step towards empowering digital creativity in India, reinforcing the vision of inclusive innovation and enabling millions to express, create, and grow in the digital age.
