IMS, Lucknow University Hosts ‘Management Zing 3.0’ Fest 2026 with Vibrant Student Participation

Lucknow: The Institute of Management Sciences (IMS), located at the new campus of Lucknow University, successfully organized its two-day annual management fest “Management Zing 3.0” on February 10 and 11, 2026. The event was held under the guidance of Vice-Chancellor Professor J.P. Saini and Professor Vinita Kachchar, OSD, IMS.

The fest brought together students from various management programmes for a series of competitive, cultural and skill-based activities designed to promote leadership, teamwork and creativity. The two-day event revolved around five major themes: Treasure Hunt, Sports and Gaming, Cultural Events, Marketing, and Advertisement-based competitions.

Wide Range of Competitions

A total of eight competitions were conducted during the fest, drawing enthusiastic participation from students across semesters.

Winners of the events were as follows:

  1. Treasure Hunt (Day 1):
    Prajwal Singh, Yash Gupta, Aditya Kumar, Ayush Singh and Shreya Dhanuk (BBA Core)

  2. Treasure Hunt (Day 2):
    Ankit Kushwaha, Napreya Zafar, Srishti Verma, Balaji Ojha and Aryan Gupta (BBA Core)

  3. Ludo:
    Vishal Dubey (MBA Marketing, Fourth Semester)

  4. BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India):
    Winner – BBA First Semester (team)

  5. Tug of War:
    Girls’ Team – Tanu’s Team (BBA)
    Boys’ Team – Sohit’s Team (BBA)

  6. Chess:
    Winner – Anshika Singh (BBA First Semester)
    Runner-up – Sharika Uttapala (BBA Sixth Semester)

  7. Free Fire:
    Winner – Rishu Yadav (BBA)

In addition to the competitions, the fest featured engaging student-led initiatives such as song request sessions and charity-based stalls offering food, games, jewellery and paintings. These stalls not only added to the festive atmosphere but also reflected the entrepreneurial and social spirit of the students.

Prize Distribution Ceremony

The prize distribution ceremony was conducted by Professor R.K. Verma, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Lucknow University. Students were seen celebrating their achievements with great enthusiasm, marking the culmination of two days filled with learning, teamwork and entertainment.

Faculty members noted that beyond competition, the fest provided valuable experiential learning opportunities in management, coordination and event planning. “Management Zing 3.0” once again highlighted IMS’s commitment to holistic student development by blending academic insight with creativity and collaboration.
