IIID National President Impressed, Crowds Continue to Pour in

 Lucknow – The architecture and home decor exhibition at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan concluded today, though it will remain open to the public until Monday. The exhibition is a key part of the ‘Synthesis-Design Week’ organized by the Indian Institute of Interior Designers (IIID).

Sarosh Wadia, the National President of IIID, was the chief guest at the valedictory ceremony. Speaking at the event, he lauded the efforts of the Lucknow Chapter and emphasized the importance of such exhibitions in providing exposure to world-class products and technologies.

He noted that the dedication of the Lucknow team was unparalleled and that he was impressed by the city’s response to the exhibition.

The closing ceremony was also attended by IIID National President Architect Jignesh Modi, Chairperson Architect Prasanjit Sanyal, Chairman-Elect Architect Aviral Agrawal, Convenor Architect Vishal Jain, Secretary Architect Rohit Gupta, and Treasurer Architect Neeraj Kushwaha.

As part of the day’s events, a timber-based training workshop was conducted for students by Architect Anurag Khandelwal, with participants from Amity School of Architecture and Planning, BBD, Integral University, AKTU, Faculty of Architecture and Planning, and ITM College. More than 150 students participated in the workshop, which focused on the importance of birdhouses made using wood and timber.

This four-day exhibition featured over 60 world-class companies showcasing the latest innovations in interior design, architecture, and building materials. Homeowners and design enthusiasts benefited from learning about the latest trends in home decor and construction technology.
