Lucknow: Minister of Horticulture, Agri Marketing and Agro Exports, Dinesh Pratap Singh launched 30 Member ICFA State Agriculture Council for Uttar Pradesh today in Lucknow. Mukesh Bahadur Singh, Chairman, UP coordination Committee IACC is appointed as the Chairman of the Council. The launch was preceded by a conference on boosting agro exports from the State. The Minister announced that the State would be moving forward on the idea of forming Agro Commodity Boards, suggested by ICFA.
The dates of UP Agriculture Summit 2024 and CEOs Conclave also announced as 2-3 Aug in Lucknow. Present on the dais were Dr. R Vishwanathan, Director, IISR, Dr. VB Diwedi, Director of Horticulture, Dr. AK Shasany, Director, NBRI, Mr. VP Singh, Chariman, UP DCB, Dr. Shalini Singh, Director, Amity, Dr. Haris Siddiqui, Director, Ag, IUL and Tushar Sharma, Director, ICFA among others.
