Lucknow: In a unique initiative celebrating women’s strength and well-being, the Lucknow Connection Worldwide (LCWW) group, in collaboration with Max Super Speciality Hospital, organized a special “Lucknow Darshan” heritage tour on the occasion of International Women’s Day. The journey brought together women members of the group for a day that blended cultural heritage, health awareness, and the spirit of women’s empowerment.
The special tour was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Vishwas Verma from Max Super Speciality Hospital. It was led by Deepali Lalwani and Dr. Savita Srivastava, who coordinated the event to ensure participants experienced both the historic charm of the city and meaningful discussions on women’s health.
During the tour, participants explored several prominent cultural and historical landmarks across Lucknow. The journey began at UP Darshan Park, where members observed symbolic representations of the diverse cultural heritage of Uttar Pradesh.
The group then travelled on a double-decker bus to the iconic Uttar Pradesh Vidhan Bhavan, which emerged as the highlight of the tour. Participants were given a special opportunity to enter the Assembly premises and witness the grandeur of the historic legislative building. The tour also included visits to Hazratganj, the city’s central shopping district, and Jan Bhavan, the official residence of the Governor.
Paying tribute to the legendary freedom fighter Begum Hazrat Mahal, the group visited Begum Hazrat Mahal Park, where members honored the heroine of the Indian Rebellion of 1857. The heritage tour continued to The Residency, a historic complex that stands as a reminder of the events of 1857.

Later, participants explored the architectural beauty of Chhatar Manzil, popularly known as the “Umbrella Palace,” and enjoyed the scenic ambience of the Gomti Riverfront, which reflects the city’s blend of heritage and modern development.
Sunil Mishra, founder of the LCWW group, praised the collaborative effort between the organization and Max Super Speciality Hospital, stating that such initiatives provide a platform to celebrate heritage while spreading awareness about important social issues.
The final segment of the journey focused on women’s health and wellness. Experts from Max Hospital conducted an interactive session where participants received guidance on preventive healthcare. Dr. Bhumika Bansal, Director of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and Dr. Pragati Gogia, Senior Consultant in Dermatology and Aesthetics, shared valuable insights on preventive care, women’s health concerns, and modern aesthetic treatments.
The event concluded with a felicitation ceremony honoring all participants, marking the journey as a memorable celebration of heritage, health awareness, and women’s empowerment.
