Lucknow – The newly appointed Chairperson of the FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) Lucknow Chapter, Simran Sahni has laid out a clear and inclusive vision for the year 2026–27, emphasizing collective growth, collaboration, and the responsibility of women to uplift one another while building a stronger future.
In her first formal address after assuming office, the Chairperson began by expressing gratitude for the trust placed in her leadership. “This is my first address as Chairperson of the FLO Lucknow Chapter, and I would like to begin by sincerely thanking all of you for the trust and responsibility given to me,” she said.
A Vision Rooted in Collective Growth
Highlighting the broader purpose of the organization, she underlined that the journey ahead is not just about individual success but about helping others rise alongside us.
“We are not just building businesses or careers; we are helping build the future. And with that comes an obligation—to pull others up as we grow,” she stated.
She described this philosophy as the central vision for the year, adding that the real strength of FLO lies in its ability to foster a supportive ecosystem. “As a group of women entrepreneurs, our real strength lies in supporting and empowering each other,” she said.
Carrying Forward a Strong Legacy
Acknowledging the contributions of past leadership, the Chairperson noted that FLO Lucknow has always been a platform where women come together to learn, connect, and grow.
“FLO has always been a space where women collaborate, support one another, and evolve together. The strong legacy created by our past leaders inspires us to continue building a chapter that creates real value for our members,” she remarked.
Inclusive Growth for Every Member
Outlining her vision, she emphasized inclusivity and engagement across diverse member backgrounds.
“My vision this year is very clear—to create meaningful opportunities for learning, collaboration, exposure, and growth in a way that every member feels included and engaged,” she said.
Recognizing the diversity within the organization, she added, “Some of us are entrepreneurs, some are professionals, some are exploring ideas, and some are rediscovering their interests. Sometimes what begins as a small hobby can evolve into something much bigger.”
Four Key Focus Areas for 2026–27
Under the guidance of FLO National President Pooja Garg, the chapter’s initiatives this year will revolve around four broad pillars:
- Textile, Handloom, and Handicrafts
- Green Technology and Circular Economy
- Agriculture and Allied Industries
- Tourism and Hospitality
The Chairperson explained that these pillars will serve as the foundation for various programmes and activities throughout the year.
“Our verticals will work across all these pillars, enabling members to gain wider perspectives, discover new opportunities, and benefit from cross-learning,” she said, adding that the ultimate objective is the holistic development of members.
Introducing ‘FLO Circles’ for Deeper Engagement
One of the key initiatives announced for the year is the introduction of FLO Circles, aimed at fostering stronger connections among members.
“Through smaller and more interactive groups, FLO Circles will encourage deeper participation, open conversations, and meaningful engagement,” she shared.
Further details about this initiative will be discussed during the upcoming orientation and networking session scheduled for April 11 at Uttam Srajan.
“I would request each one of you to attend this networking and orientation meet,” she urged members.

Focus on Upskilling and Personal Development
Beyond sector-specific exposure, the Chairperson emphasized the importance of continuous learning and self-development.
“We will continue focusing on upskilling and overall development, including financial awareness, digital literacy, communication skills, confidence building, as well as wellness and fitness,” she said.
This comprehensive approach aims to equip members not just professionally but also personally, ensuring well-rounded growth.
Strengthening Institutional Linkages
As part of a larger chamber ecosystem, FLO Lucknow will also focus on building stronger linkages with national initiatives and platforms.
“We will continue aligning with national frameworks so that our members benefit from broader exposure and opportunities. When we stay aligned, we grow together as a network,” she noted.
A Dynamic Team and Expanded Committees
Highlighting the newly formed leadership team, the Chairperson expressed confidence in its ability to drive meaningful change.
“This year, we have an expanded structure with 21 committees, each working towards a common goal—member growth and empowerment,” she said.
Key committees include:
- AI and Digital
- Financial Empowerment
- MSME and Startups
- Legal and Compliance
- And several others
“All committees will work collaboratively to ensure that every member benefits from the collective strength of the network,” she added.
A Call for Participation and Collaboration
Concluding her address, the Chairperson made a heartfelt appeal to all members to actively engage in the chapter’s activities.
“As we begin this journey, I have one simple ask—come forward, participate, and stay engaged,” she said.
Encouraging open communication, she added, “If you have ideas, share them. If you have suggestions, reach out. If you want to contribute, speak to me or any of the working committee members. My doors are always open.”
She emphasized that the true strength of FLO lies in its community spirit. “A network becomes stronger when members take care of each other,” she concluded.
With a clear vision, inclusive approach, and a strong emphasis on collaboration, the FLO Lucknow Chapter is set to embark on a dynamic and impactful journey in 2026–27, focused on empowering women and building a future where everyone rises together.
