Lucknow: In a swift and vigilant response, Hazratganj police prevented a woman from Ghaziabad from attempting self-immolation on Vidhansabha Road. The woman, who had come to Lucknow with the intent to take her own life, was intercepted by police personnel deployed in the area.
Upon her apprehension, the woman was taken to the local police station, where officers began questioning her to determine the reasons behind her drastic actions. The police are actively investigating her circumstances and motives for coming to Lucknow.
The timely intervention of the Hazratganj police and the self-immolation prevention squad played a crucial role in saving the woman’s life.
