Munich: After a 2-2 draw against Bayer Leverkusen and SC Freiburg, Harry Kane finally celebrated his first club trophy as Bayern Munich were crowned “Deutscher Meister 2025”. The club announced their Bundesliga triumph on X, stating, “For the city, the team, and the supporters. #MiaSanMeister.”
Bayern’s 34th Bundesliga title was confirmed a day after Leipzig drew 3-3. Despite Freiburg taking a 2-0 lead, an own goal and late strikes couldn’t secure Leverkusen the win needed to prolong the title race.
Bayern lead the Bundesliga with 76 points (23 wins, 7 draws, 2 losses), ahead of Leverkusen’s 68. Kane, Tottenham’s former star with over 200 goals, had never won a major trophy before, his best being a Champions League final loss. He shared a celebratory video on X, saying, “We are the Champions!!” Bayern’s dominant season saw them win by eight points with a 30-goal difference, with Kane as the league’s top scorer with 24 goals.
