Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti Celebrated with Grandeur in Lucknow

Lucknow: The birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh Ji was celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm at Hari Om Mandir, Lalbagh, in Lucknow.

The religious observance began with an Akhand Path, which commenced on January 3, 2026, and concluded on Monday with the Bhog ceremony. Following this, Gyani Dharmendra Singh performed Gurbani Shabad Kirtan, Aarti and Ardas, filling the temple premises with a spiritual and devotional atmosphere.

After the prayers, Guru ka Langar was distributed among devotees, symbolising unity, equality and selfless service—core teachings of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

Devotees from across Lucknow, including members of the Sindhi community and people from other communities, participated in the celebrations with deep श्रद्धा and enthusiasm. The event witnessed the presence of several prominent members of the temple committee and the community, including Temple President J.P. Nagpal, Ram Balani, Suresh Chhablani, Kishanchand Bhambhani, Prakash Godhwani, Prakash Kriplani, Ramesh Balani, Hardeviji, Anju Nagpal, Meena Keswani, Mahesh Jethani and Pradeep Manna, along with hundreds of devotees.

The celebration reflected the enduring teachings of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, inspiring devotion, courage, and harmony among the faithful.
