Grand welcome for Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on arrival in Lucknow

Lucknow: On the arrival of Lucknow’s popular MP and Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh at the Airport, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, Rajya Sabha MP Dr Dinesh Sharma, Sanjay Seth, State General Secretary Sanjay Rai, Metropolitan President Anand Dwivedi, MLC Mukesh Sharma, Mayor Sushma Kharkwal, Dr Mahendra Singh, MLA Dr Neeraj Bora, OP Srivastava, Yogesh Shukla and a large number of senior officials and public representatives welcomed him by presenting flower bouquets and ang vastra.

On coming out of the gate in the security fleet, seeing a large number of workers and common people present to welcome him in the airport premises, Rajnath Singh got down from the fleet and reached near the workers and personally accepted the garlands and flower bouquets from everyone and asked about their well-being.

Encouraged by the shower of flowers being showered on him by the workers, he himself showered flowers on the workers. The huge crowd present there welcomed their leader, the Union Defense Minister of the country, Rajnath Singh, with great enthusiasm with drums, shower of flowers, garlands and bouquets.

Rajnath Singh reached Hanuman Setu Temple directly from the airport and bowed his head in front of all the deities one by one and received their blessings by worshipping them.

The Pandits performed the worship with chanting of mantras. He offered a big garland to Lord Hanuman and performed the ritualistic worship by pouring water on the Shivling. During this, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, Metropolitan President Anand Dwivedi, MLC Mukesh Sharma, Mayor Sushma Kharwal, Media Incharge Praveen Garg were mainly present.

After Hanuman Setu Temple, the Defense Minister went to the residence of senior advocate Doctor LP Mishra in Nirala Nagar and met the intellectuals present there.

Addressing the intellectuals present, Rajnath Singh said that you have given me the opportunity to serve from Lucknow constituency for the third time, for this I want to say to the people of Lucknow that I want to express my gratitude to those who voted for me for victory in the Lok Sabha elections and I also express my respect to those who did not vote. Because we do politics not only to form the government but to build the society and the country. I think I have tried my best to do what is good for the society, what is right, the public should evaluate to what extent I have succeeded in that. I will keep trying my best for whatever will be required for Lucknow in future as well.

Media in-charge Praveen Garg told that after this he went to Sandeep Singhal’s residence in Aliganj and met the family members and expressed condolences on the recent demise of his mother.
