Grand Vijay Diwas Run Organised In Lucknow Station

 

To commemorate the valiant soldiers of the 1971 Indo-Pak War, a grand Vijay Diwas Run was organised in Lucknow Station under the aegis of HQ Madhya UP Sub Area. The event, held in honour of the heroes of the historic war, witnessed overwhelming participation, reflecting the collective pride and gratitude of the nation.

Over 700 enthusiastic men, women, children and NCC cadets participated in the 10 km and 5 km runs, showcasing remarkable energy, unity and patriotism. The run was flagged off by Lt Gen Mukesh Chadha, Chief of Staff, Surya Command, amidst great enthusiasm and high spirits.

The Vijay Diwas Run served as a tribute to the unparalleled courage and sacrifices of the Indian Armed Forces during the 1971 war. It highlighted the spirit of resilience and unity that defines the Indian Army and its strong bond with the people of the nation.

The event also aimed to inspire the younger generation, encouraging them to uphold the values of dedication, discipline, and patriotism. The large turnout of participants underscored the deep respect and admiration for the Armed Forces within the community.
