Lucknow – Under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative and the nationwide Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, a grand “Tiranga Run” will be organised in the city on August 12, 2025, from 10 AM onwards. The event is being held jointly by Lalit Kala Akademi (Regional Centre, Aliganj, Lucknow), Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Girls P.G. College, and Uttar Pradesh Lok Evam Janjatiya Sanskriti Sansthan, Lucknow.
The ‘Tiranga Run’ will commence from Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Girls P.G. College, pass through Purnia and the Lalit Kala Akademi Regional Centre in Aliganj, and return to the college premises. Hundreds of enthusiastic youth are expected to participate, waving the tricolour and expressing their patriotism.
Adding to the charm, Dhobiya folk singers and dancers will perform patriotic songs and dances along the route. The event will culminate with a special musical performance by noted musician Abhishek Srivastava.
Organisers say the event aims not only to showcase cultural harmony but also to inspire the spirit of nationalism among the younger generation. Media professionals and photographers have been invited to cover the event and help spread its message to the masses.
