Ayodhya: On the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, a grand procession was taken out from Naka Mankameshwar Temple in Ayodhya, drawing a large number of enthusiastic devotees. The procession was inaugurated by MLA Ved Prakash Gupta, who performed the ceremonial aarti of Lord Shri Ram, Laxman, Mata Sita, and Hanuman ji.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Gupta said, “The festival of Ram Navami inspires us to follow the ideals of Lord Shri Ram—dignity, truth, and duty. This procession from Ayodhya spreads a message of devotion, faith, and communal harmony throughout society.”
Organized under the coordination of former Hindu Yuva Vahini city president Shambhunath Jaiswal, the procession was accompanied by devotional songs played on moving DJs, creating a spiritually charged atmosphere. At various points along the route, devotees showered flowers to welcome the procession.

A highlight of the event was the intricate tableaux of Lord Shiva presented by artists from Varanasi, which drew widespread admiration from attendees. The procession also saw notable participation from women, adding to the grandeur of the celebration.
The event was attended by BJP media in-charge Amit Mishra, Reena Dwivedi, Mandal President Ravi Sonkar, Karni Sena senior vice president Sunny Singh, along with Sanjay Singh, Rajan Singh, Umesh Lakhmani, Lalit Singh, Rajkumar Sonkar, and a large number of devotees.
