Lucknow – The four-day Shri Ganesh Mahotsav 2025 at BBD Educational Campus concluded with a grand Ganesh Visarjan ceremony. Thousands of devotees joined the colorful procession that carried Lord Ganesha’s idol to the Gomti River at Jhulelal Park for immersion.
The day began with special prayers and rituals performed by Varanasi’s renowned priest, Acharya Rajeev Nayan Upadhyay, at the Shri Siddhi Ganesh Mandir pandal. Following the puja, the beautifully decorated idol of Lord Ganesha was mounted on a chariot, and the grand procession commenced.
Devotees, drenched in abir and gulal, danced and chanted “Ganpati Bappa Morya” with fervor as the cavalcade of vehicles moved through key city routes including Matiyari Chauraha, Chinhat Tiraha, Polytechnic Chauraha, and Hanuman Setu, before reaching Jhulelal Park. Along the way, locals gathered at marketplaces and crossings to offer prayers, seek blessings, and receive prasad of khil and laddoos.


The immersion ceremony at the Gomti ghat marked the spiritual conclusion of the festivities. Mr. R.K. Agrawal, Chief Executive Director of BBD Educational Group, along with several dignitaries of the city, participated in the procession, underscoring the grandeur of the occasion.
The event reflected the spirit of devotion and unity, leaving devotees with the message of seeking blessings for prosperity and well-being.
