Ayodhya: The spiritual reverberations of Lord Ram’s Pran Pratishtha (consecration) continue to echo in the hearts of devotees across the nation. Now, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is preparing to script yet another historic chapter with an elaborate flag hoisting (dhwajarohan) ceremony atop the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, scheduled for November 2025.
The much-anticipated event will witness the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the chief guest, along with thousands of dignitaries, saints, religious leaders, and devotees from across India and abroad.
A Grand Vedic Celebration
Drawing inspiration from the magnificence of the Pran Pratishtha held earlier this year, the upcoming flag hoisting will be no less majestic. The ceremonial hoisting of the Ram Dhwaj (flag) atop the temple’s towering 161-foot shikhara (spire) will symbolize not just divine victory, but also the sanctity and culmination of an era of devotion, struggle, and faith.
The event will be marked by:
- Vedic chants and rituals
- Traditional music performances
- Ramkatha recitations
- Cultural and spiritual presentations by acclaimed artists
Discussions are underway with astrologers to finalize an auspicious date, with November 16 and 25 being considered as potential choices for the ceremony.
Massive Preparations in Ayodhya
Preparations in Ayodhya are already in full swing. The temple trust, in coordination with the district administration, has begun:

- Booking accommodations in hotels, dharmshalas, and guest houses
- Enhancing security arrangements
- Preparing hospitality logistics for the dignitaries and spiritual leaders
The Trust is curating a prestigious guest list, which includes religious scholars, heads of spiritual institutions, international delegates, and notable figures from various walks of life.
Each spire within the expansive temple complex will have a flag hoisted, but the central flag atop the main sanctum will serve as the focal point. It will be raised with full ritualistic grandeur, echoing the glory of Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram and reaffirming the spiritual resurgence of Ayodhya.
A Symbol of Completion and Unity
The event will mark another milestone in the completion of the Ram Temple, signifying progress toward the full realization of a dream cherished by millions. It is not merely a ceremonial event, but a national moment of spiritual pride, unity, and cultural reaffirmation.
As the sacred flag flutters over Ayodhya this November, the city is once again poised to become the spiritual heartbeat of India, drawing the faithful from every corner of the world.
