Lucknow: Inspired and guided by Governor Anandiben Patel, the ongoing Navratri and Garba Festival at Raj Bhavan, Lucknow, witnessed a devout celebration of Maa Durga on the auspicious Ashtami Tithi, featuring heartfelt worship and a grand divine Aarti in a spiritually vibrant atmosphere.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Sudhir Mahadev Bobde, Additional Chief Secretary to the Governor, Dr. J.P. Pandey, Vice-Chancellor of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, Dr. Manuka Khanna, Vice-Chancellor of Lucknow University, along with Raj Bhavan officials, staff, invited dignitaries, and other devotees.
Following the worship and Aarti, participants joined in Garba dance, adding joy and cultural vibrancy to the spiritual proceedings. As in previous years, the festival at Raj Bhavan is being celebrated with deep devotion, enthusiasm, and cultural grandeur. Devotees were also offered prasadam after the program.

The Navratri and Garba Festival, which began on September 22, 2025, is being held daily in a divine and festive atmosphere and will continue until October 1, 2025. The celebrations will conclude on October 2, 2025, with the ritual immersion of Maa Durga’s idol, marking the ceremonial end of this cultural-religious event.
The program was coordinated by Special Officer (Education), Dr. Pankaj L. Johny, ensuring smooth conduct of the devotional and cultural activities.
