Lucknow: The Viram Khand-5 sub-committee of Gomti Nagar Jan Kalyan Samiti, Lucknow, organized a grand bhandara on the fourth Big Tuesday at Hanuman Temple, Vasanti Park, Jeevan Plaza, and other locations. The event showcased the spirit of brotherhood and devotion to Bajrangbali among the people, and provided nutritious food as prasad to the underprivileged.
This celebration is a living example of Indian tradition. Additionally, the committee felicitated Vijay Kumar Chopra’s revered mother, Pushpa Chopra, on her 100th birthday, June 3, 2025. The occasion was marked with heartfelt blessings and good wishes.
The committee also organized a Sunder Paath and Bhandara at Vijay Kumar Srivastava’s residence on the same day.
In a previous meeting held on April 27, 2025, at Shri Ravi Agarwal’s residence, the committee members: Dr. Bharat Raj Singh, President, Arun Trivedi, General Secretary, Dr. RP Sharma, Er. Vijay Chopra, RP Singh, etc. discussed key issues affecting Viram Khand-5, such as parking problems in Jeevan Plaza and street vendor encroachments on Ram Bhuvan Road. The committee expressed gratitude to Corporator Shri Arun Tiwari for his prompt action in addressing these issues.
