Lucknow: Governor of Uttar Pradesh and Chancellor Anandiben Patel reviewed the self study report of Jananayak Chandrashekhar Vishwavidyalaya, Ballia, to be submitted for NAAC at Raj Bhavan.
In the meeting, the Governor gave many important instructions to the university to get good grading in NAAC and for the overall development of the students. While giving instructions to ensure quality education for the students, she said that it is necessary to fulfill the educational needs of the students by keeping their interests paramount. She asked for timely and smooth enrollment in the university.
The Governor called hard work the key to success and asked to complete the tasks with dedication and commitment. She said that no goal can be achieved without hard work and dedication. She directed the university to work with team spirit, make hard work its motto and keep making continuous efforts to achieve the goals.
The Governor, while emphasizing on establishing the highest academic standards in the university, directed that students should be provided such opportunities so that they can improve their skills and knowledge. Various types of competitions related to specific areas should be organized in the university so that the talent and skills of the students can be enhanced. She instructed that various activities should be conducted by the students, which will increase their confidence.
She asked to pay special attention to cleanliness, women’s health and children’s education in the villages adopted by the university.
In the meeting, the Governor asked every member of the team from the university to ensure compliance with the instructions given and prepare a strong SSR. On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary to the Governor Dr. Sudhir Mahadev Bobde, Special Officer Education Dr. Pankaj L. Johny, Vice Chancellor of the University Sanjit Kumar Gupta, all members of the NAAC team of the university and other officials were present.
