Lucknow – Hundreds of traders and Sanatani (Hindu) residents of the Gomti Nagar area today organized a collective mourning assembly at Shaheed Manoj Pandey Chauraha. Following the assembly, they conducted a candlelight march from Thana Chauraha to Patrakarpuram Chauraha, protesting the killings of Hindus in Kashmir.
The program saw the participation of numerous local citizens, along with members of Sanatan Samiti, Bang Lok Bharti, and Gomti Nagar Vyapar Mandal.
Key participants included Shiv Kumar Gupta alias Bobby (In-charge, Eastern Region and former corporator), Deepam Gupta (Vice President), Vini Gupta alias Rinki (Senior General Secretary), Ajay Mishra (Secretary), Vikas Khanna alias Vicky (Senior Vice President), Rajneesh alias Devil (Secretary), Vinay Mishra (Vice President), Vinay Kumar Chand (Executive Member), Rajkumar Soni, Kaustubh Gupta, Amit Kumar Singh, Rajesh Gupta, and Aman Tiwari, along with hundreds of other traders. BJP corporator Ramakrishna Yadav and members of Sanatan Samiti Gomti Nagar, including Sudhir Gupta, Rakesh Singh, Lalchand Srivastava, and Sangita Tiwari (In-charge, Chinhat Sanatan Samiti), also joined the march.
The leadership for the event was provided by Rajesh Soni (President), Saurabh Tiwari (Treasurer), Amit Nigam, Upendra Pandey, Rupesh Rastogi, Sanjay Shukla, Amarendra Rai, Dheeraj, Sharad, and Sangram Singh (Vice Presidents of Patrakarpuram Vyapar Mandal), along with Lakshman Gaud, Balram Mishra, and Vivek Rai of Sanatan Samiti, Gomti Nagar.

The security arrangements provided by the police were commendable.
The women power of the Vyapar Mandal, including Shalini Singh, Jyoti, Sadhana Pandey, Shrinkhla Mishra, and Shweta Singh, actively participated in all the programs, enthusiastically chanting “Jai Shri Ram and Bharat Mata Ki Jai.”
