Goel Institute (GITM) Organizes Workshop on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) on Uttar Pradesh Foundation Day

Lucknow: On the auspicious occasion of Uttar Pradesh Foundation Day, Goel Institute of Technology and Management (GITM), in collaboration with and with the support of the Council of Science and Technology (CST), Uttar Pradesh, organized a grand one-day workshop on “Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)”.
Presence of Eminent Academicians and Scientists
The program commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guests Dr. Pooja Yadav and Dr. Radhelal Ji (CST, UP). Several senior academicians from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) graced the occasion as Distinguished Guests, including Prof. Kuldeep Sahay (Director, REC Basti), Prof. Anurag Tripathi (Dean, UGSE), Prof. Arun Kumar Tiwari (Dean, FOET), and Prof. Anuj Sharma (Dean, R&D Cell).

During various technical sessions of the workshop, subject experts highlighted the importance of innovation and patents. The key speakers included:
•Dr. Arun Singh and Colonel (Dr.) Sameer Mishra, who emphasized the role of intellectual property in national development.
•Mr. Abhay Dwivedi, who explained the procedural intricacies of filing patents.
•Dr. Om Prakash and Mr. Maheep Singh, who guided participants on commercializing research and obtaining legal protection.
Commitment to Promoting Innovation
Chief Guest Dr. Radhelal Ji stated that organizing such a workshop on Uttar Pradesh Foundation Day is a significant step toward making youth self-reliant. He assured researchers of full support from CST, UP. The Director of the Institute, Dr. Rishi Asthana, expressed gratitude to all the guests and speakers, stating that the workshop would infuse new energy among students and faculty members toward innovation. At the conclusion of the program, Engineer Mahesh Kumar Agrawal (Goel), Chairman of Goel Group of Institutions, distributed certificates to all participants.
