LUCKNOW – The Oscar Yoga Sai Kripa Seva Sansthan officially began its 16th Shri Shri Ganesh Utsav with the ceremonial installation of the Ganpati Maharaj idol. The festival site on Shivaji Marg, Hewett Road, has been elaborately decorated for the occasion.
Locals affectionately refer to the deity as “Shivaji Marg Ka Raja” (The King of Shivaji Marg), and a large number of devotees are expected to participate in the daily aarti (prayers) and other programs throughout the festival.
According to Ganesh Shankar Pawar, one of the organizers, the idol was installed according to sacred rituals and chants performed by a priest. The installation was performed by Suman Pawar, after which the idol was beautifully decorated. A large number of devotees attended the puja and the grand evening aarti.


The organizers, including yoga instructor Suman Pawar, distributed prasad to the attendees. Shivaji Marg Lucknow Vyapar Mandal President Gopal Dixit and Minister Atul Tripathi, along with several other traders, also participated in the puja. As a gesture of goodwill, they were presented with copies of the Ramcharitmanas and traditional shawls.
