Gang Leader’s Illegal Assets Worth ₹98 Lakh Seized in Major Crackdown in Lucknow

Lucknow: In a significant breakthrough against organised crime, the Lucknow Police has taken firm action by seizing properties worth nearly ₹98 lakh belonging to a notorious gang leader, Kuldeep Singh. Acting on the directives of the Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime), the Chinhat Police conducted the operation and dismantled what officials described as the criminal’s “illegally amassed empire.”

According to police sources, assets worth ₹98,44,625—allegedly accumulated through unlawful activities—were officially confiscated. Kuldeep Singh, known for his involvement in multiple criminal cases across different districts, has been on the radar of law enforcement agencies for a long time.

The operation was led by Chinhat Police Station in-charge Dinesh Chandra Mishra, with key contributions from Sub-Inspector Manoj Kumar, Sub-Inspector Abhishek Tiwari, Constable Vinay Shukla, and other police personnel. Their coordinated effort ensured the swift execution of the seizure order.

Police officials stated that the move has sent a strong message across the criminal network in the region. The crackdown has triggered panic among offenders who have benefited from unlawful earnings.

The Lucknow Police reiterated their commitment to continuing similar operations, emphasising that the campaign against illegally acquired assets and organised crime will remain active and uncompromising.
