Lucknow – In a major breakthrough, Chowk Police arrested a notorious gang leader involved in multiple cases of theft, loot, burglary, and fraud. The arrest was made under the leadership of Chowk Inspector Nagesh Upadhyay.
The accused has been identified as Guru Prasad, a wanted criminal operating an organized gang in the city. Acting on credible information, Sub-Inspector Kuldeep Kushwaha, along with his team, successfully apprehended the accused.
Police confirmed that Guru Prasad was booked under the Gangsters Act, highlighting his role in leading and orchestrating a series of criminal activities.
Authorities said further investigation is underway to identify other members of the gang and recover stolen property linked to the crimes. The arrest is being seen as a significant step in curbing organized crime in the Chowk area.
