Ganesh Mahotsav 2025 Begins with Musical Splendor at BBD Campus

Malini Awasthi’s soulful renditions captivate devotees: Chief Guest: Baby Rani Maurya, UP Minister for Women & Child Development

Lucknow– The four-day Shri Ganesh Mahotsav 2025 commenced at the BBD Educational Campus with a vibrant cultural and devotional evening. Renowned Padma Shri awardee and internationally acclaimed folk singer Malini Awasthi set the tone of the festivities with her melodious bhajans and folk numbers that had the packed pandal swaying in devotion.

She began her performance with soul-stirring renditions including Om Gan Ganpate Namo Namah, Mere Ghar Mein Padharo Gajanan, Ganpati Bappa Morya, Jai Ganesh Deva, and Damru Bajave. The atmosphere grew devotional as she moved to Mangal Bhavan Amangal Haari from Ramcharitmanas and electrifying folk numbers like Holi Khele Masane Mein, Run Dhun Khola Na Kevariya, Bhole Bhel Chit Kabaar, Saiya Mile Larkaiya, and Reliya Bairan Piya Ke Liye Jaye Re. Her team’s folk dance presentations further enhanced the festive spirit, while thunderous applause from the audience filled the venue throughout.

The evening’s chief guest, Baby Rani Maurya, Uttar Pradesh Minister for Women Welfare, Child Development & Nutrition, was welcomed by Mrs. Alka Das Gupta, Chairperson of BBD Educational Group, with a floral bouquet and memento.

Later, during the grand aarti,  Maurya, Alka Das Gupta, BBD Group President Viraj Sagar Das, Vice-President Devanshi DasSonakshi Das, and Chief Executive Director R.K. Agrawal joined devotees in offering prayers to Lord Ganesha.

Thousands of students of the BBD Group, along with residents from nearby villages, gathered in the sprawling campus to witness the cultural extravaganza and immerse themselves in the devotional celebration.
