Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government has sanctioned a sum of Rs 20 crore in the current financial year under the scheme of strengthening and reviving milk unions for dairy development in the state.
This amount has been sanctioned as the first installment. This amount has been sanctioned for Agra, Mainpuri, Meerut, Jhansi, Jalaun (Orai), Hamirpur, Mahoba, Banda, Lucknow, Lakhimpur Kheri, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Rampur, Varanasi, Mirzapur, Sonbhadra, Gorakhpur, Maharajganj, Deoria, Basti, Siddharthnagar, Azamgarh, Mau, Prayagraj, Pratapgarh, Kanpur, Ayodhya, Ambedkarnagar, Bahraich, and Gonda districts.
In this regard, the Dairy Development Department has issued a government order and given necessary guidelines to the Dairy Development Officer / Deputy Dairy Development Officer and Disbursement Officer of the concerned districts regarding the implementation of the scheme.
It has been said in the government order that compliance of the standards and guidelines set by the state government should be ensured in the use of the sanctioned amount. Withdrawal and expenditure of the sanctioned amount will be done as per the guidelines issued from time to time for the scheme and the arrangements contained in the government order.
