During the visit, the delegation was briefed about the university’s various youth-oriented initiatives, research programs, and training schemes designed to promote innovation and entrepreneurship. The members first toured the Innovation Hub, where they learned about the extensive facilities provided to empower students and young innovators across Uttar Pradesh.
The delegates visited several state-of-the-art laboratories, including the Idea Lab, Industrial Automation Lab, Cyber Security Lab, and Artificial Intelligence Lab, as well as the Kalam Incubation Center. They observed ongoing research, innovation, and startup activities being carried out by students, researchers, and young entrepreneurs.
A question–answer session was also held, during which delegation members discussed the university’s innovation ecosystem, startup support framework, training programmes, and research collaborations. University officials responded with detailed insights, highlighting AKTU’s commitment to fostering innovation-driven education.
The delegation expressed appreciation for AKTU’s modern infrastructure, cutting-edge labs, and initiatives encouraging entrepreneurship among students. The visit is expected to strengthen international cooperation and boost research and innovation partnerships between India and other nations.
Dr. B.N. Mishra, Dean of Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship, gave a detailed presentation on the university’s research, innovation, and startup support initiatives. Also present on the occasion were Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Rajeev Kumar, Registrar Smt. Reena Singh, Finance Officer Shri Keshav Singh, Prof. Anurag Tripathi, Associate Dean Innovation Dr. Anuj Kumar Sharma, Head of Innovation Hub Mahip Singh, Innovation Hub Manager Vandana Sharma, and Assistant Manager Incubation Anurag Tripathi, among others.
