Lucknow: Season 12 of Repertwahr Festival 2024 wrapped up with a spectacular final day, featuring an exciting blend of talent across multiple stages.
On the Literature Stage, Priya Malik and Raman Negi captivated audiences with insightful discussions on modern relationships and identity. On the Comedy Stage, Ravi Gupta presented an entertaining set filled with hilarious observations that drew laughter and left the audience’s faces beaming with joy.
The Theatre Stage showcased ‘The F Word’ by Akarsh Khurana, a powerful play that explored themes of love and societal expectations, leaving the audience both entertained and introspective. The Music Stage brought the festival to an electrifying close with Agnee Band, whose nostalgia-filled fusion of rock and Indian music had the crowd dancing to their hits.
Bhoopesh Rai, Founder of the Repertwahr Festival, and Priyanka Sarkar, Co-Founder, shared their vision for the festival: “Repertwahr strives to foster a deeper appreciation for performing arts and artists among Lucknow’s community while ensuring these art forms reach audiences who may have had limited exposure to them. Our festival is dedicated to breaking generational barriers, offering a lively and inclusive platform where theatre and music serve as universal bridges, connecting people of all ages.”
A special highlight of the day was the Fankaar Stage, which celebrated local talent by offering emerging artists in the performing arts a chance to perform for festival-goers. The stage provided a platform for musicians, dancers, and poets to showcase their creativity, highlighting the richness of grassroots talent in the community.
The closing ceremony celebrated the success of Repertwahr 2024, marking another year of bringing diverse voices and creative talent together.

Repertwahr’s journey started in 2009 as a humble theatre festival, and later on added Music, Literature, Stand-Up Comedy, and a Food and Craft Bazaar to its genres of performing arts, making this annual cultural event India’s Most Unique Performing Arts Festival.
