Varanasi/ Prayagraj: The first contingent of police force has arrived for the preparation of Maha Kumbh 2025. About 1600 police officers and employees have reached the police line built on the parade ground. With this, the training of the police team also started. SSP Kumbh Mela Rajesh Dwivedi introduced himself to the policemen and gave a brief information about the Kumbh Mela.
Indoor and outdoor training was given to the police force in the police line. The soldiers were given information about the zones, sectors, circles, police stations including pontoon bridges, bathing ghats, corridors, important religious places etc. of the Maha Kumbh Mela.
At the same time, the police force were given a tour of the fair area including the Sangam site. Special guest Ajit Sinha, Commandant of 33rd Battalion PAC Jhansi, shared his previous experience of Kumbh Mela. He also advised to behave well with saints and devotees. Before training, the soldiers were also given PT and yoga practice.
