Fire Safety Drill conducted by SBI Hazratganj

Lucknow: A fire drill was conducted at the State Bank of India’s local head office in Hazratganj, Lucknow. The exercise involved all office staff and personnel from the Uttar Pradesh Fire and Emergency Department. Fire and smoke were simulated on the fifth floor, triggering the fire alarm, with announcements made via the PA system to evacuate the building. Power supply was also disconnected during the drill.

All staff, including the Chief General Manager and other senior officials, evacuated promptly. Under the guidance of Station Fire Officer Ram Kumar Rawat, firefighters used a hydraulic platform to rescue an employee from the eighth floor. Fire safety personnel demonstrated firefighting techniques, assisted by the bank’s fire officer. Later, an all-clear signal was given, and staff resumed their duties.
