Tel Aviv: Amid the war against Israel, Hezbollah appointed Naeem Qassim as the new chief of the organization. Naeem was made the next head of the organization after the consent of the Shura Council. Naeem Qassim, who was an assistant to Hassan Nasrallah, has been one of the main spokespersons of Hezbollah.
Israel has reacted to the appointment of Naeem Qassim. Israel’s Defense Minister Yoav Galant says that Hezbollah’s new chief Naeem Qassim is a temporary chief.
Israel calls Qassim a temporary chief
Galant says that Qassim’s appointment has been done on a temporary basis and he will not be able to stay in this position for long. Galant said in a social media post that temporary appointment. The countdown has started.
Israel further said that Naeem Qassim’s tenure will prove to be the shortest tenure in the history of Hezbollah. Israel has stressed that there is no other way except to destroy Hezbollah.

Qasim will work on Nasrallah’s policies
Qasim had been working with Hassan Nasrallah in Hezbollah for many decades. He was Nasrallah’s assistant. Since his death, he was working as the acting leader of the organization. Even though Naeem Qasim has been appointed as the new chief of Hezbollah, the organization has resolved that Hezbollah will continue to follow Nasrallah’s policies until victory is achieved against Israel.
