Lucknow: The session titled “From Files to the Pen of Literature” featured distinguished speakers, including senior administrative officer Dr. Hariom, Principal Secretary of Vocational Education and Skill Development; Dr. Ajay Shankar Pandey, former Commissioner of Jhansi Range; and Dr. Sudhakar Adeeb, former Director of Uttar Pradesh Hindi Sansthan.
During the discussion, Dr. Hariom shared how celebrated writer Anjaan managed to carve out time for writing amid his official duties, maintaining equal proficiency in both Hindi and English. He also spoke about his travel memoirs, particularly his book on the Kailash Mansarovar journey, which has drawn much attention. On this occasion, Dr. Hariom recited two of his songs, enchanting the audience.
Dr. Ajay Shankar Pandey commended the organizers for prioritizing a theme that highlights how civil servants dedicate time to writing alongside their administrative roles. He also shared personal reflections on the balance between service and creativity.

Senior story writer Dr. Sudhakar Adeeb noted that while civil servants remain emotionally connected to literature, it is the choice of subject that often inspires their writings. He praised the Trust for bringing fresh perspectives to its programs and for connecting accomplished writers through such initiatives.
The session was coordinated by Hindi Editor Dr. Lalit Kishore Mandora, with stage management by Dr. Arun Singh and support from Sabahath Afreen. The program witnessed an enthusiastic turnout, with a significant number of listeners in attendance.
