Executive Director Public Grievances Inspects Lucknow Railway Station

Lucknow: Today, Executive Director (Public Grievances), Railway Board, New Delhi,  Vikas Kumar Jain, visited Lucknow Railway Station to conduct a comprehensive inspection. During his visit,  Jain reviewed the passenger amenities and other facilities available at the station. He also inspected the railway tracks towards the Barabanki end of the Lucknow Yard and assessed ongoing activities aimed at modernizing the yard and improving operations.

Jain evaluated the progress of construction work at the station’s second entry and familiarized himself with other developmental activities within the station premises. Following the inspection, he attended a meeting held at the divisional office auditorium.

In the meeting,  Jain engaged in discussions with Northern Railway Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Lucknow,  S.M. Sharma, and North Eastern Railway DRM, Lucknow,  Aditya Kumar, along with the heads of various departments from both divisions. He was briefed on the ongoing railway projects in the Northern and North Eastern divisions. He emphasized the need for timely completion of these projects and provided clear directives regarding their execution.

Expressing his vision,  Jain stated, “Passenger service and interests should be given the highest priority as we deliver our best services. All railway stations, regardless of size, must be equipped with the latest amenities. Safe, secure, and timely train operations should be ensured to eliminate potential public grievances and encourage more people to opt for railway travel.”

The inspection was attended by Additional Divisional Railway Manager,  Neelima Singh, along with officials from various departments, inspectors, and supervisors.
