The facility marks a significant milestone in ELGi’s strategic expansion into vacuum solutions and reinforces the company’s commitment to manufacturing excellence, quality leadership, and global competitiveness.
The new assembly line has been established under a multi-year technology licensing agreement between ELGi and D.V.P. Vacuum Technology S.p.A., Italy. Under this partnership, ELGi undertakes the manufacturing, assembly, testing, and marketing of DVP’s proprietary vacuum products in India. Vacuum technology is a natural extension of compressed air solutions, and this initiative strengthens ELGi’s future-ready portfolio of industrial air and vacuum solutions.
A Deming Prize-winning company, ELGi has designed the assembly line in alignment with its strong Total Quality Management (TQM) philosophy. The facility enables end-to-end control over quality and reliability, allowing ELGi to offer globally competitive vacuum pump products backed by a two-year warranty.
