Mumbai—In a heartwarming event celebrating devotion, culture, and creativity, Kaushik Thakkar and Jhanvi Doshi unveiled the charming “Bal Kanha” doll, part of the new Krishna Collection. The launch was attended by a host of celebrities, including Rupali Ganguly, Urvashi Dholakia, Divya Agarwal, Tannaz Irani, Deepshikha Nagpal, Deepika Singh, Sreejita De, and Ritu Shivpuri.
Ekta Kapoor spoke passionately about her devotion to Lord Krishna, sharing a personal story. “I believe that anyone, spiritual or not, sees Kanha in their children. I deeply felt this connection for the first time when I went to Shrinathji after my son was born,” she said.
Kapoor emphasized the importance of introducing children to their spiritual roots in a modern, engaging way. “Today’s children are surrounded by superheroes and entertainment, and they only encounter religion and faith later in life. Before they reach their teenage years, we can connect them to our heritage in a fun and interesting way, like through a Kanha doll,” she explained. “This is a joyful way to introduce the next generation to our traditions and belief systems.”

The “Bal Kanha” doll, available on the Kanha Universe platform, captures the innocence and mischievousness of Lord Krishna’s childhood. With its intricate craftsmanship, the doll is more than just a collectible; it’s a sweet medium for connecting young hearts to India’s rich spiritual legacy. The event was not just a launch but a celebration of the timeless sweetness of Krishna’s childhood, beautifully blending faith, art, and cultural pride.
