Drone and Laser Shows to Light Up Ayodhya During Deepotsav 2025 on October 18–19

Lucknow | Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deepotsav 2025 in Ayodhya, the city of Lord Shri Ram, promises a spectacular fusion of faith, culture, and modern technology. Alongside the illumination of 2.6 million lamps across 56 ghats, devotees will witness a choreographed musical drone show and a 3-D holographic musical laser show on October 18 and 19, creating a truly immersive experience.

Drone Show Featuring Iconic Ramayana Scenes
According to Tourism and Culture Minister Jayveer Singh, 1,100 domestically manufactured drones will recreate key episodes from the Ramayana in the night sky, forming stunning aerial visuals. The shows will feature memorable depictions including “Jai Shri Ram,” bow-wielding Lord Ram, Hanuman lifting the Sanjeevani mountain, Ram Setu, and the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple. The 3-D holographic musical laser show will further enhance the experience, projecting lifelike images for visitors to enjoy.

Additional Drone Show on October 18
To heighten the spectacle, an extra drone show will be held on October 18, prior to the main festival days. Last year’s Deepotsav featured 500 drones; this year, the scale has more than doubled to 1,100 drones to make the celebration even more grand and captivating.

Symbolic Tableau from Treta Yug to Modern Ayodhya
The musical laser show will portray Lord Ram’s life and ideals using advanced technology, culminating in a symbolic tableau titled “From Treta Yug to Modern Ayodhya,” connecting the city’s spiritual past with its contemporary vibrancy. Deepotsav 2025 is thus set to become a landmark festival, blending devotion, cultural heritage, and technological innovation to offer an unforgettable experience for pilgrims and tourists alike.
