Lucknow: A special tree plantation program was organized in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” Jan Abhiyan 2024. As per the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the program was held at the Divisional Village Industries Training Center, Daliganj of Uttar Pradesh Khadi and Village Industries.
Chief Executive Officer Dr. Ujjwal Kumar started the program by garlanding the statue of Mahatma Gandhi. After this, he planted Peepal, Pakkad and Banyan saplings. The aim of this initiative is to promote environmental conservation and encourage greenery.
Principal Tanuja of the Training Center, other departmental officers, and employees were also present on the occasion. The participants in the program expressed their commitment towards the environment and inspired to make such campaigns successful in future as well.
