Lucknow: A grand celebration was held at the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) Uttar Pradesh headquarters in Lucknow to honour Dr. Ramashish Rai, the state president of the party, on receiving an Honorary Doctorate from Yoga University of America. The degree was awarded in recognition of his groundbreaking research on the powers and persona of Lord Hanuman, symbolizing a unique blend of spiritual depth and scholarly pursuit.

This marked Dr. Rai’s first visit to the party office after receiving the doctorate. He was given a warm and ceremonial welcome by party members, leaders, and supporters. Floral garlands, mementoes, and sweets were offered in celebration of the prestigious honour.

The event saw the special presence of RLD National General Secretary and former MLA Shivkaran Singh, who praised Dr. Rai for his leadership and vision.

“Dr. Rai has elevated the party to new heights in Uttar Pradesh. His doctorate is not just a personal achievement but a matter of pride for the entire RLD family,” said Singh.

RLD National Secretary Vijay Srivastava lauded the research for bridging India’s ancient spiritual tradition with modern yoga science.

“This honour reflects the intellectual maturity and cultural commitment of our party. Dr. Rai’s work connects Sanatan thought with contemporary relevance,” he remarked.

State Vice President Waseem Haider called the achievement an inspiration for grassroots workers:

“Dr. Rai has shown that service and cultural values can go hand in hand in politics. This honour will motivate every worker who believes in value-based politics.”

Aditya Vikram Singh, another vice president, praised the spiritual foundation of the research:
