Doctors Organize Walkathon to Raise Awareness on Ayurveda in the Capital

Lucknow: On the occasion of Ayurveda Day, a walkathon and awareness rally was organized under the guidance of Prof. D.K. Maurya, Principal and Superintendent of Government Ayurvedic College. The rally began from the college premises and proceeded through Aishbagh Ramleela Maidan, where a street play was performed to spread awareness.

The theme of the street play focused on the promotion of Ayurveda and its potential in treating various ailments through traditional practices. Teachers, doctors, and a large number of students actively participated in the initiative, creating an engaging and informative environment for the public.

Dr. Dharmendra, the officiating medical officer, informed that the program was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Arvind Kumar, Sports In-charge. The event coordinators, Prof. Rajbahadur Yadav and Dr. Rekha Bajpai, encouraged the participants and highlighted the importance of taking Ayurveda to the masses.

On this occasion, several faculty members, including Prof. P.C. Chaudhary, Dr. Shachi Srivastava, and Dr. Jitendra, were also present. The walkathon and cultural activities were aimed at reinforcing Ayurveda’s relevance in modern healthcare and inspiring people to adopt holistic wellness practices.
