DM Bareilly gifted astronomy-cum-science laboratory to the students of Navodaya Vidyalaya.

Bareilly: An Astronomy-cum-science Lab was inaugurated and gifted, here yesterday, to the students at JNV Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh by DM Bareilly  Ravindra Kumar IAS.

This Lab is equipped with more than 100 various equipments related physics, chemistry, biology and space science.

Lab also has latest technology equipment like AR and VR set. Augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) are technologies that combine the real world with a virtual world to create 3D visuals. AR is more accessible than VR because it can be used with a smartphone, while VR requires a headset.

It was constructed and established by DM Mr Kumar with total cost of Rs 45 lakhs (building plus equipments), which was financed by DM from critical gap fund. It took almost 6 months to construct and set up this lab.

DM  Kumar has constructed more than one dozen astronomy-cum-science lab for various government schools in the rural areas across the district and has gifted it to the school administration.

In addition to Shri Kumar; CDO ( Chief Development Officer) Bareilly Shri Jag Pravesh, Joint Commsioner GST  Neelam Rani, ACJM (adl chief judicial magistrate)  Akakash Verma, Executive engineer RED etc were also present on this occasion.
