Lucknow: As part of Samadhan Diwas (Public Grievance Redressal Day), District Magistrate Vishakh G reached Sadar Tehsil to personally oversee the public hearing and ensure prompt resolution of citizens’ grievances. The DM interacted directly with complainants, reviewed pending cases, and instructed officials from all departments to ensure timely and qualitative disposal of issues raised during the previous Tehsil Diwas.
Emphasizing accountability and transparency, the District Magistrate directed that all departments must verify the resolution status of previous complaints by personally calling complainants and confirming whether their issues have been satisfactorily addressed.
During the hearing, officials were reminded that citizen trust depends on the efficiency and authenticity of grievance redressal. The DM reiterated that each complaint must be resolved on merit, with a focus on quality rather than quantity, and that no case should remain pending without valid reason.

He further instructed that real-time feedback from complainants be collected through phone calls to ensure that the grievance redressal process remains citizen-centric and result-oriented.
The public appreciated the DM’s proactive approach and the emphasis on direct communication between administration and citizens — a step toward making the district administration more responsive, transparent, and people-friendly.
