Bareilly – A review meeting on the progress of the Farmer Registry initiative was held at the Collectorate auditorium under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Avinash Singh.
During the meeting, the District Magistrate directed the Deputy Director of Agriculture to intensify efforts to ensure maximum registration of farmers under the ongoing campaign. He emphasized the need to organize special drives and set up camps across villages to facilitate easy enrollment and increase outreach.
Issuing clear instructions to all tehsildars, the District Magistrate stressed that all pending cases related to farmer registration must be resolved by April 15, ensuring 100 percent completion within the stipulated deadline.
He also instructed all Sub-Divisional Magistrates to continuously monitor the progress and conduct regular reviews. Officials were asked to collect reports from all revenue functionaries and ensure active coordination with Assistant Development Officers (Panchayat) to expedite the process.

The meeting highlighted the importance of timely and accurate registration of farmers, which plays a crucial role in ensuring access to government schemes, subsidies, and agricultural benefits.
Among those present at the meeting were Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Purnima Singh, Additional District Magistrate (Finance and Revenue) Santosh Singh, Deputy Director of Agriculture Himanshu Pandey, along with other concerned officials.
The administration reiterated its commitment to strengthening the agricultural support system by ensuring comprehensive coverage under the Farmer Registry initiative.
