District Magistrate Reviews Development Schemes Ranking on CM Dashboard in Gonda

Gonda: District Magistrate Priyanka Niranjan chaired a comprehensive review meeting at the Collectorate auditorium to assess the performance and rankings of various development schemes being monitored on the Chief Minister’s Dashboard.

Using a projector, the District Magistrate conducted a detailed department-wise evaluation, covering key sectors such as NRLM, Jal Nigam, Family ID, Panchayati Raj, Electricity, Tourism, Basic and Secondary Education, Animal Husbandry, Social Welfare, Probation, Backward Class Welfare, and Irrigation.

Expressing concern over unsatisfactory rankings in certain departments, she directed officials to ensure 100 percent implementation and timely data feeding on the dashboard to improve performance in the coming month. She warned that failure to show improvement would invite strict action.

During the meeting, special emphasis was laid on continuous monitoring and timely disposal of schemes. Officials were instructed to take the CM Dashboard seriously and regularly review their department’s progress to prevent any decline in rankings.

The District Magistrate also expressed strong displeasure over the poor progress of the Family ID initiative and instructed the concerned official to take immediate corrective measures to enhance its ranking.

Taking a firm stance on accountability, she directed District Panchayati Raj Officer Lalji Dubey to initiate departmental action against Gram Panchayat Secretaries who fail to provide records to designated inquiry officers during inspections. She made it clear that negligence in such matters would not be tolerated.

Additionally, the review covered beneficiary-oriented schemes such as Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Kanya Sumangala Yojana, Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana, child protection homes, and destitute women pension schemes. Officials were instructed to expedite verification of pending applications and ensure timely processing so that eligible beneficiaries receive benefits without delay.

The meeting was attended by Chief Medical Officer Dr. Santalal Patel, District Development Officer Sushil Kumar Srivastava, Deputy Director Agriculture, District Probation Officer, Social Welfare Officer, District Statistics Officer, DC Industries Baburam, Assistant Tourism Officer, along with other district-level officials, BDOs, ADO Panchayat officials, and representatives from the NEDA department.

The review reflects the administration’s commitment to strengthening governance, improving transparency, and ensuring efficient delivery of public welfare schemes across the district.
