Gonda: District Magistrate Priyanka Niranjan chaired a review meeting at the Collectorate auditorium to assess preparations for the upcoming census exercise and issued key directives to ensure its smooth execution.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the progress of census-related preparations, departmental responsibilities, and coordination among various agencies. Emphasizing the national importance of the census, the District Magistrate instructed all concerned officials to maintain utmost seriousness and warned that any negligence or laxity would not be tolerated.
She directed that 100 percent deployment of officers and staff be ensured for the census work so that the process can commence on time and be completed within the stipulated timeframe. Stressing the need for seamless coordination, she urged all departments to work in close collaboration and promptly report any challenges to higher authorities.

The District Magistrate also warned that strict departmental action would be taken against any अधिकारी or कर्मचारी found negligent in performing census duties. Officials were further instructed to complete all preparatory arrangements, including training, resource allocation, and logistical planning, well in advance.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Magistrate Alok Kumar, Sub-Divisional Magistrates Ashok Kumar Gupta (Sadar), Pradeep Kumar Singh (Tarabganj), Neha Mishra (Karnailganj), and Jitendra Gautam (Mankapur), along with District Development Officer Sushil Kumar Srivastava, District Inspector of Schools Dr. Ramchandra, Basic Education Officer Amit Kumar Singh, Block Education Officers, and other concerned officials.
