Bareilly: District Magistrate Avinash Singh conducted an inspection of the under-construction Ramayan Vatika in Ramganga Nagar on Tuesday to review the progress of development works.
The inspection was carried out in the presence of Municipal Commissioner Sanjeev Kumar Maurya and Vice-Chairman of Bareilly Development Authority Manikandan A K.
During the visit, the District Magistrate reviewed the progress of construction, beautification work, cleanliness arrangements and security measures at the site. He directed the concerned departments to complete all remaining works within the stipulated timeframe and give the project its final finishing touches.
The Municipal Commissioner also instructed the Bareilly Municipal Corporation team to ensure proper cleanliness, adequate lighting and improved parking facilities in the park area.

Officials from the Bareilly Development Authority informed that efforts are being made to develop the Ramayan Vatika into an attractive public space with seating arrangements and other amenities for visitors. They added that after its inauguration, the park is expected to emerge as a major recreational and tourism spot for residents of Bareilly, offering a clean and well-maintained environment with improved public facilities.
Several officials from the concerned departments were also present during the inspection.
