Lucknow — The District Magistrate (DM) conducted an on-site inspection of the Bara Imambara complex and issued several directives to enhance cleanliness, visitor facilities, and overall management of the historic site.
The DM emphasized beautification and the development of lawns within the complex to improve the aesthetic appeal for tourists and devotees. Strict instructions were issued to completely ban vehicles inside the main gate to ensure safety and maintain decorum.

Vacant shops within the premises will be converted into ticket kiosks and guide centers. An online ticketing facility is expected to be launched soon to facilitate smooth entry for visitors. Plans are also underway to construct a new parking area and a modern restroom complex to improve visitor convenience.

For enhanced security, the DM directed an increase in CCTV surveillance across the premises. The initiatives aim to ensure the comfort of tourists, uphold the sanctity of the religious site, and reduce traffic congestion in the surrounding areas.
All departments involved have been instructed to complete the planned improvements within the stipulated timeline.
