Lucknow — District Magistrate Vishakh G conducted a surprise inspection at the Primary School in Chinhat, assessing the condition of the school infrastructure, ongoing admissions, maintenance, and overall academic environment. The visit aimed to ensure the quality and preparedness of government schools ahead of the new academic session.
During the inspection, the District Magistrate interacted with school staff and reviewed cleanliness, classroom arrangements, and availability of basic facilities. He issued clear directives to concerned authorities regarding the improvement of infrastructure and ensuring smooth admission procedures.
Upon learning that the school’s submersible pump had been non-functional for several years, the District Magistrate issued immediate orders for its repair and restoration to ensure uninterrupted water supply.
Present at the site were the District Basic Education Officer, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), local police station in-charge, and other senior administrative officials.
The District Magistrate emphasized that schools should provide a safe, clean, and motivating environment for students, and no compromise will be tolerated in matters affecting the well-being and education of children.
