District Magistrate Chairs Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas at Mohanlalganj Tehsil

Lucknow | Under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Vishakh G., Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas was organised across all five tehsils of the district, with a strong focus on time-bound and quality disposal of public grievances.

The District Magistrate informed that a total of 540 cases were received across the five tehsils during the grievance redressal programme, out of which 125 cases were resolved on the spot. At Mohanlalganj Tehsil, the District Magistrate personally ensured the on-the-spot disposal of 75 cases.

Emphasising the government’s priority of resolving public grievances at the local level, the District Magistrate directed all officers to ensure swift, lawful and time-bound disposal of complaints, preferably within one week. He also instructed that complainants must be informed after the resolution of their cases and feedback should be taken through follow-up calls.

Providing tehsil-wise details, the District Magistrate said that during the day’s Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas, 5 out of 47 cases were resolved in Sadar Tehsil, 7 out of 68 in Malihabad, 30 out of 126 in BKT, 75 out of 230 in Mohanlalganj, and 8 out of 69 in Sarojini Nagar. The remaining cases have been forwarded to the concerned departments with clear instructions to ensure their disposal within the stipulated timeframe.

A total of 71 police-related complaints, 286 revenue cases, 50 development-related complaints, along with petitions related to education, health, social welfare, municipal corporation and other departments were received during the programme.

Taking strict action on complaints related to encroachment on government land, the District Magistrate ordered the issuance of a charge sheet against the Revenue Inspector of Mohanlalganj for failure to resolve land measurement cases. The Lekhpal of Kamalpur Bichalka was removed from the tehsil and departmental proceedings were initiated. In another case related to illegal encroachment in Atrauli and Dehawa villages, the Tehsildar Mohanlalganj was directed to ensure removal of encroachments from government land and to lodge FIRs against the encroachers.

The District Magistrate further instructed all district-level officers to submit action-taken reports along with photographs and videos within the prescribed timeline to ensure transparency and accountability.

Additional District Magistrate (Finance & Revenue) Rakesh Singh, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Mohanlalganj Pawan Patel, Tehsildar Mohanlalganj, and officials from police, social welfare and other departments were present during the programme.
