Distribution of Sanitary Pads and Tree Plantation Drive Held Under Swachhta Pakhwada 2025 at TUSCO Limited

Lucknow: On May 22, 2025, as part of the “Swachhta Pakhwada 2025” initiative, THDCIL Rishikesh organized a cleanliness and awareness program at TUSCO Limited, Lucknow. The event was led by Mr. Ankit Kumar Jha (Nodal Officer) and Mrs. Madhuri Yadav, in collaboration with the social service organization Rubaru Express. The initiative aimed to spread awareness about personal hygiene among women. Ms. Kalpana Varshne and Mr. Mukesh Varshne from Rubaru Express joined the effort to provide health-related information to the women for leading a healthy life.

Additionally, educational materials were distributed among the children associated with Rubaru Express.

During the event, Mrs. Madhuri Yadav, Ms. Kalpana Varshne, and Mr. Mukesh Varshne addressed women at Uma Vatika Park in Jankipuram, stressing the importance of health and hygiene. They also promoted the message, “If a woman is clean, the society is clean.” A tree plantation drive was carried out under this program, led by senior officials, to support environmental cleanliness.

At the conclusion of the event, senior officials including Mr. Ambika Prasad Vyas (Additional General Manager), Mr. Dhirendra Prasad Gairola (Deputy General Manager, Vigilance), Mr. Shashank Lal (H&A Manager), Mr. Ankit Kumar Jha (Assistant Manager), and Mrs. Madhuri Yadav extended their gratitude and honored Ms. Kalpana Varshne and Mr. Mukesh Varshne for their contribution. Together, they distributed sanitary pads and plants to women and provided food supplies to both women and children.

This program, conducted under the supervision of Mr. Manoj Sardana (CEO), was successfully organized and executed. The initiative not only spread awareness about cleanliness and environmental responsibility but also emphasized the message that whether it’s environmental, personal, or external cleanliness—it’s essential for a healthy individual, society, and nation.
